WEEKDAY DELIVERIES

All meal-delivery routes are created to provide the best service possible for all clients, as well as maintaining ease in delivery for the volunteers so that the meals are delivered in a timely manner.

There are currently 15 delivery routes in Erath County, consisting of 8 daily routes in Stephenville and 2 daily routes in Dublin, which deliver hot meals, 5 days per week. There are also 5 rural routes, which deliver to outlying Stephenville and Dublin rural areas, Morgan Mill, Lingleville, Huckabay, Alexander/ Carlton, Duffau, and Bluffdale one day a week, providing each client with 1 hot meal and 4 frozen meals for the remainder of the week.

Volunteers typically pick up meals at one of two distribution sites between 10:15 – 10:45 a.m. Meals are delivered to clients no later than 12:00 noon.

Clients who won’t be home during the normal meal delivery time must call the ECSC office and give 24 hours notice. Please call 254-965-3510.

Clients are encouraged to greet your volunteer. The volunteer must make contact with the client during each delivery. If clients are not at home, the volunteer cannot leave a meal or give it to anyone else for a client. If a client does not answer the door or the telephone, the volunteer will call the ECSC office and our staff will call the client’s emergency contact person to determine the reason for the absence.
