POLICY REGARDING
OUTREACH
Home Delivered Meals - Transportation
ECSC, INC. recognizes the preferred target group for our services consists
of eligible persons with the greatest economic and social needs,
particularly low-income, minority elderly and others who cannot afford to
eat adequately or who lack the knowledge, skills, mobility or motivation to
obtain and/or prepare adequate food, as well as those who require
transportation services or any other service offered to the Target Group by
ECSC, Inc. in conjunction with the NCTCOG-AAA.
Therefore, our emphasis in outreach will be to advise
all clients of all services available, as well as contact agencies in our
community who have contact with this target group and provide them
information on the services we provide.
We also intend to use the local media to give
exposure of our services to those that are unaware of them but are in need
our assistance.
POLICIES REGARDING ELIGIBLE PERSONS UNDER 60

The spouse
of an eligible client may receive meals regardless of age or condition.

A
non-elderly disabled person living with an eligible client may receive a
home-delivered meal if receipt of that meal is in the best interest of
the homebound older person.
POLICY REGARDING PARTICIPANTS IN HOUSING
Residents of Long-Term Care Facilities and participants of Adult Day Care
Centers are not eligible for Title III meals if other federal monies are
funding their meals.
NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY
Erath County Senior Citizens, Inc. will not refuse Services to any eligible
client on the basis of:
