ANNUAL GOLF BENEFIT

Erath County Senior Citizens, Inc. (ECSC) dba Meals on Wheels of Erath County would greatly appreciate your sponsorship of our upcoming Golf Benefit at Legends Country Club in Stephenville scheduled for Saturday, May 22^nd.   While all contributions are appreciated, two levels of special sponsorship offer recognition for you, your club or business.

• A corporate sponsorship is $400. 
  This pledge includes your organization in advertising related to the tournament and identifies you as a supporter of area seniors.  Your pledge also covers greens fees and golf cart rental for a team of four players.  The estimated fair market value of these fees for a team of four is $148.00. 

• Hole sponsorships require a pledge of $100. 
  This sponsorship will be represented with a sign bearing your organization’s name on one of the greens and will identify you as a supporter of area seniors.  If you would also like to participate as a player, you may send an additional $50 per person.

In addition to monetary contributions, we are in great need of prizes for our raffle as well as food and beverages for participating golfers.  Besides helping to increase the revenue from our tournament, these donated items serve as great advertising for the contributor.

With the help of our volunteers, Meals on Wheels of Erath County serves more than 2800 home-delivered meals each month to seniors who are confined to their homes. Additionally, through a contract with City and Rural Rides (C.A.R.R.) this organization provides transportation within Erath County for around 40 seniors each month.  Our agency is a non-profit organization funded partially by State and Federal grants from the North Central Texas Council of Governments/Area Agency on Aging and the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.  Other major contributors include Erath County United Way, Erath County, Texas Department of Agriculture, the Walmart Foundation, interested individuals, civic groups and churches.  However, these funds and donations are insufficient to defray the increasing costs of our operation.

The success of our annual Golf Benefit, the only fundraiser we hold each year, is paramount to our ability to continue our current level of service.

As a non-profit organization, ECSC has been granted tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (ID # 75-2588510) and your contribution is tax deductible.
