Meals on Wheels of Erath County (MOWEC) will host their first annual sporting clay fun shoot on June 23, at Greystone Castle Sporting Club in Erath County. All proceeds will benefit MOWEC and support local services for the homebound elderly.

Shooters will have a "shot" at 100 clay targets at a variety of shooting stations. Prizes for first, second and third place shooters will be awarded. A Colt AR-15 and Browning Citori Shotgun will also be raffled off. A live auction will feature exclusive packages from local businesses (including locally bottled Dr. Pepper). 
 
Breakfast and shooter registration begins at 7:30 am with the first flight beginning at 8 am. Registration is only $100 per shooter, if registered by June 1. The fee includes 100 targets, breakfast, lunch and snacks. Must be 18 years of age to participate in event. Spectators are welcome.
 
MOWEC is also offering sponsorship packages at many levels. Sponsorship packages offer a chance to register up to 5 shooters, special recognition at the event and a variety of perks.

Meals on Wheels delivers approximately 3,000 meals each month to home-bound seniors. 
Proceeds from the fun shoot will help MOWEC continue our service and keep elderly clients off waiting
lists.
